Anyone else get the feeling this was fake? First, there was no security protocol for the track area? I haven't been to too many races but it is pretty damn difficult to get close to the track if you are not with a team (at least here in the US) . Second, the fact that it is a "new" Polo and racing against all old VWs says this is some kind of viral thing for VW (their ad team is pretty creative). Third, all the other racers just drive around like it is no big thing, no flashing lights no erratic movements. It is all just too smooth.

Well, the guy driving the Polo was arrested. And the commentator mistook it for a Golf. And apparently, according the commenter on the FP article, the security at Brands Hatch isn't brilliant.
